Frankincense essential oil: bulk and wholesale supply
Frankincense is distilled from the hardened oleo-gum resin tapped from Boswellia trees. Ours is Indian frankincense, Boswellia serrata, tapped in India and steam distilled from the resin. Serrata is drier and greener at the top than the Somali carterii most buyers have met, and it is the species specified in a great deal of skin-care and ayurvedic work. Supply is seasonal, so the lot and its analysis are confirmed at order.
